This is the place where you can download the netKar PRO Rank tool. Using this tool has a number of benefits: stable server, auto-restart on nKServer.exe crash, automatic reporting of fastest laps to the Rank, online server display on the netKar PRO Rank site. The only people who need the tool as the persons running a server for netKar PRO.

What is it?
 The netKar PRO Rank system consists of two parts: the netKar PRO Rank site (this is what you are looking at now) and the netKar PRO Rank tool. The site is where people can go and watch the track records, progress and rankings. The tool automatically feeds the site continously with new times from drivers racing on servers from all over the planet.

Who needs it?
 This tool is required to be installed on netKar PRO servers. So, only people who are hosting netKar PRO servers need to download the netKar PRO Rank tool. If you are only joining servers, you don't need to install the netKar PRO Rank tool. If you want to host your own race, download the tool and get a server running using the netKar PRO Rank tool!

Installation instructions
 Getting the netKar PRO Rank tool up and running is easy:
  1. Download the netKar PRO Rank tool (see link above).
  2. Extract the .zip file and put the netKar PRO Rank.exe file in your root folder of netKar PRO. This is the folder where netKar PRO.exe is located as well.
  3. Before launching the netKar PRO Rank.exe file, configure your server by editing the nkservercfg.ini file in the cfg folder. Save the file after your work is done.
  4. Launch netKar PRO Rank.exe and press 'Start'.

Important:
Do not start the nKServer.exe from the Host Race GUI interface. You can use the Host Race dialog to configure the server (remember: you must launch the server in order to save the changes to the nkservercfg.ini file). But, if you want to report the server laptimes properly to the netKar PRO Rank, you must launch the server from the Rank tool by pressing the 'Start' button the Rank tool. So, whatever way you use to configure the server, always launch the server itself from the Rank tool by pressing 'Start'.

Also, if you intend to run multiple nKServer instances on one physical server (using different ports), make sure you create an installation folder for each nKServer instance. So, if you run 4 nKServers, you need to have 4 netKar PRO installation folders with 4 instances of the netKar PRO Rank Tool running. If you don't do it this way, the Rank will be messed up and laptimes will be invalid.

Requirements
 There are just a few requirements for running the tool:
  • netKar PRO installation of the most recent version (netKar PRO licence not required!).
  • .NET framework 2.0.
  • Internet connection.
